An in situ Iron Age 2A hippo storage jar, excavated from a storage room behind a domestic kitchen at Tall e-Hammam in Season 2, January 8, 2007. This turned out to be a complete vessel, something which is rare in excavations. There were six similar jars all broken beside it with a portion of one still visible.
